How It Works

The weekly accountability loop.

Every TutorsTok student moves through the same six-step loop each week. It is how we keep tutoring focused — and how parents stay informed.

The Six Stages
  1. Stage 01

    Assess

We open with an intake conversation and a look at your student's current skills, current coursework, and specific concerns. The goal is a clear, honest picture of where they are — not a sales pitch.

For parents: You'll be asked a small number of practical questions; nothing invasive.

  2. Stage 02

    Plan

We write a plan that names the specific skills to work on, the way we'll practice them, and how progress will be reviewed. The plan is short, readable, and shared with you.

For parents: You receive a written plan you can actually read and reference.

  3. Stage 03

    Teach

Structured sessions focused on the plan — not scattershot homework help. Each session has an intended goal for the week.

For parents: Your student attends on a consistent schedule so tutoring becomes a habit.

  4. Stage 04

    Practice

Between sessions, targeted practice builds fluency and confidence. Practice is right-sized so it actually gets done.

For parents: Practice assignments are specific: what to do, and how long it should take.

  5. Stage 05

    Report

Parents receive short written updates tied to session cadence — the skill practiced, attendance, tutor observations, and the recommended next step.

For parents: You always know what happened and what's next, without chasing anyone.

  6. Stage 06

    Adjust

The plan is not frozen. As your student progresses (or hits something new), we adjust goals, session focus, or practice so tutoring stays useful.

For parents: If the plan changes, you'll see it in writing — with the reason.
